OUR STORY
TrackHelix was founded with a simple goal: to streamline career tech education tracking and eliminate the hassle of spreadsheets and paperwork.
As someone responsible for reporting career tech data to the State of Ohio, I saw firsthand how disorganized and inefficient the process could be. Too often, critical data lived on the back of a napkin or scattered across multiple spreadsheets—making compliance and accurate reporting a constant challenge.
I searched for an off-the-shelf solution, but nothing truly fit the nuances of career tech education. Every system I found lacked the flexibility schools needed to track work-based learning, credentials, exams, and student progress in one place.
So, I built something myself—starting in Google Sheets. What began as a simple solution to solve my own reporting headaches quickly grew into a comprehensive tracking platform that now serves educators, students, and workforce partners across career tech programs. And the rest is history.
